Mother Nature brings ice to Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia with states of emergency declared. Nashville’s ice storm shut down the city with its mayor advising against travel. FedEx has reported disruptions and delays at its Memphis hub and for the midsouth and northeast regions of the U.S. The storm has put thousands of people without power in bitter cold temperatures.
“The northern edge of the system dropped another round of snow on the Northeast and winter-weary New England,” according to NBC News. Federal government offices in Washington, D.C. are closed today.
Please be aware that this hazardous weather impacts logistics and travel and may cause delays. We encourage you to call ahead and verify service hours for any drug testing location, both Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Centers and preferred collection sites, in these icy areas.
