National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is promoting National Drug Facts Week, a health observance week for teens that aims to shatter the myths about drugs and drug abuse. This year the cause is honored on October 31 through November 6 with contests, community-based events and online activities.
NIDA encourages you to tweet, blog, or update your Facebook status on October 28 to help spread the word about National Drug Facts Week. Get the facts from scientific experts and share information to change attitudes and opinions. In addition, thousands of teens will be participating in a Web chat with NIDA scientists fielding questions about drugs. For more information, please visit http://drugfactsweek.drugabuse.gov/.
