See Our Hair Testing Lab in Action

hair-testing-lab-tourWe are proud of our hair testing laboratory and the contribution we make to help keep the workplace safe. We have offered hair drug testing services to employers since 1994. Take a virtual lab tour to see our facilities for yourself.

We are a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration or SAMHSA-certified laboratory that also has College of American Pathologists Forensic Drug Testing accreditation for hair, urine and oral fluid drug testing. Leveraging our expansive, thousand-location collection site network, we are making significant investments in international drug testing, and now have collection locations in more than one hundred countries around the world.

Compared to other specimen types, hair testing requires more manual effort and more time to process in the laboratory. But due to its longer window of detection and ability to detect a pattern of repetitive use, hair testing typically returns higher positivity rates than other specimen types. This makes hair testing an excellent deterrent of drug use, and a highly effective complement to an existing urine or oral fluid testing program.
